Shower Locations

After each long-term hike the first order of business is to get a shower and then head for "real food". The following places have public showers and have been used by the troop.

East Side of the Sierra's

All are on US Highway 395 and are listed from south to north.

From the north: On Highway 14 about 43 miles south of the junction of Highway 395 and Highway 14. From the south: On Highway 14 about 5.6 miles north of Mojave. (0.3 miles north of California City Blvd.)
Rock Creek (Crowley Lake)	Rock Creek Lakes Resort P.O. Box 727 Bishop, CA (760) 935-4311	Unknown	Exit 395 west at Toms Place. About 9 mi. turn left to the resort.
June Lake	Pine Cliff Resort P.O. Box 38 June Lake, CA 93524 (619) 648-7558	Unknown	Between 395 and June Lake. Exit 395 west on 158 to June Lake. 0.9 mi. turn right on North Shore Drive. 0.7 mi. turn left on Pine Cliff Road. It is about 0.4 mi. to the resort. Open mid-April through October. Hours: 8 am - 8 pm

Lake Edison/ Florence Lake	Mono Hot Springs Resort General Delivery Mono Hot Springs, CA 93642 (559) 325-1710	4	Past the east end of Highway 168. About 1 mile beyond the High Sierra Ranger Station toward Lake Thomas A. Edison. Turn left at the sign. It is about 1/2 mile. Hours: Daily, 8 am - 9 pm.
Lake Edison/ Florence Lake	Vermilion Valley Resort Edison Lake P.O. Box 258 Lakeshore, CA 93634 (559) 259-4000	2	Past the east end of Highway 168. About 7 miles beyond the High Sierra Ranger Station toward Lake Thomas A. Edison. It is just past the damn on the right. Hours: Daily Note: Don't bother calling as they don't answer and won't return a call.
Lodgepole Village	Lodgepole, CA (559) 565-4436 Sequoia National Park	Multiple	Just north of the General Store. Hours: Daily, 8am - 7pm
John Muir Lodge	Grant Grove, CA Kings Canyon National Park	Multiple	13 years and older. Showers in the John Muir Lodge which is across the street from the Grant Grove Visitor Center. Hours: Daily, 11am - 4pm
Cedar Grove Lodge	Cedar Grove, CA Kings Canyon National Park	8	Near Roads End. 100' from the Cedar Grove Lodge. Small showers with wet floors. Used by many campers. Buy tokens in the general store. Hours: Daily, 7am - 9pm
