Banquet Locations

After each long-term hike the first order of business is to get a shower and then head for "real food". The following restaurants have been used by the troop.

East Side of the Sierra's

All are on US Highway 395 and are listed from south to north.

Lancaster	Sizzler 44430 N. 20th Street West Lancaster, CA 93534 (661) 948-4671	From points north: Exit on I Street. Turn left and go under the freeway. Turn right on 20th Street. Sizzler is on the left about 3/4 mile down, just before J Street.
	Baskin-Robbins 44450 N. 10th Street West Lancaster, CA 93534 (661) 942-1731	Corner of 10th and J-4. From Sizzler, go east on J Street. Turn right on 10th Street. Baskin-Robbins is on the left, 4 blocks down. To get back to the freeway, use J Street.
Bishop	Sizzler 871 North Main Street Bishop, CA 93514 (760) 873-6821	Located in the middle of town on the right (west) side of the street. Hours: daily, 11 am - 9:30 pm

West Side of the Sierra's

Bakersfield	Sizzler 900 Real Road Bakersfield, CA 93309 (805) 325-2976	Real road, just west of Highway 99. From points north: Exit California Ave. off of Highway 99. Cross California Ave., straight ahead 0.1 mile on the left.
	Baskin-Robbins 5460 Stockdale Hwy Bakersfield, CA 93309 (661) 323-4392	From Sizzler, go south on Real Rd for 0.8 miles then turn right onto Stockdale Hwy. Go 1 mile to Baskin-Robbins on the right. To get to Highway 99 south, take Stockdale Hwy east for 1 mile. Turn right onto Real Rd for 0.1 miles then turn left onto CA-58 east (Bakersfield Tehachapi Hwy). Go 0.1 miles and bear right on ramp to CA-99 south.
Visalia	Sizzler 2121 W. Caldwell Ave. Visalia, CA 93277 (559) 625-1290	Southwest corner of Mooney Blvd and Caldwell Ave. From points north: Exit Ave 280/Caldwell Ave off of Highway 99. Proceed east about 4 miles. Sizzler is on the right, just before Mooney Blvd. From Mineral King: Proceed about 25 miles on Mineral King Road to CA-198. Turn left onto CA-198. In 33 miles turn left onto CA-63 south (Mooney Blvd). Proceed south 2.0 miles and turn right on Caldwell Ave. Sizzler is on the left. Continue to Shady St. and make a U turn. Note: Mooney Blvd is heavily traveled on the weekend. An alternate route is advised. From Sequoia National Park: From the Ash Mountain entrance, proceed about 37 miles along CA-198 to CA-63 south (Mooney Blvd). Proceed south 2.0 miles and turn right on Caldwell Ave. Sizzler is on the left. Continue to Shady St. and make a U turn. Note: Mooney Blvd is heavily traveled on the weekend. An alternate route is advised. Hours: Mon-Sat 11 am - 9 pm, Sun 9 am - 9 pm
	Baskin-Robbins 3505 W. Walnut Ave. Visalia, CA 93277 (559) 734-8581	SE corner of Demaree Rd and Walnut Ave. From Sizzler, go west on Caldwell Ave. In 0.8 miles turn right on Demaree Rd. In 1.0 miles turn right into the shopping on the south side of Walnut Ave. Baskin-Robbins is on the far side. To get to Highway 99 south, take Demaree Rd south to Caldwell Ave. Turn right and go west about 3 miles to Highway 99. Hours: daily, 11 am - 10 pm
