7 League Boot Award (Prior to December 2013) Note: This award series is being phased out. If you were originally issued them then you will continue to earn these awards. Otherwise you will be issued 7 League Boot Awards out of the newer series shown below.

Requirements

1. The 7 League Award and 100 mile segment are awarded at the completion of the first 100 miles of backpacking.
2. Additional segments can be earned for 200, 300, 400, 500, 750, and 1000 miles.

The Fine Print

1. All mileage must be on backpacks of 2 or more days with an overnight camp.
2. This award may be earned concurrently with other High Adventure awards.

7 League Boot Award (As of December 2013) Note: New 7 League Boot Award recipients will receive awards out of this series of awards.

Requirements

1. This is a hiking and backpacking cumulative mileage award.
2. The 7 League Award and 25 mile segment are awarded at the completion of the first 25 miles.
3. Additional segments can be earned for 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 1,000 miles.

The Fine Print

1. A minimum of 50% of the miles must be backpacking miles, and additional miles are earned by day hiking.
2. This award may be earned concurrently with other High Adventure awards.
